Driving Directions

From the N2 take exit 210 toward M4/Ballito/Compensation, turn right onto Ballito Dr. Carry on straight past three robots. At the roundabout (BP Service Station), continue straight passed the Fire Station and Shiptech (Service Station) on Ballito Dr until you reach the T-Junction and turn right onto Minerva Road. Follow the road around the bend down Hawkins Road until you reach a 4-way stop. At the 4-way stop turn left onto Compensation Beach Road. We are the second property on the left, next to the Ballito Library.

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation less than 7 days prior arrival forfeits the full deposit.
  • Cancellation 7 to 14 days prior arrival forfeits 75% of the deposit.
  • Cancellation 14 to 21 days prior arrival forfeits 50% of the deposit.
  • Cancellation 21 to 28 days prior arrival forfeits 25% of the deposit.
  • Non arrivals pay full accommodation charge.
  • Guests booking out prior to gaurantee departure date are charged full amount of the original booking.
House Rules

All accommodation accounts must be settled on arrival. If you wish to retain your room beyond this time. The extension will be given depending on availability. If the room is available, the normal tariff will be charged.

The accommodation may not be occupied by anyone other than the guest and the names of guests (including children) that appear on the Booking Form.

Unless otherwise agreed prior to booking, the accommodation may not be used for any purpose other than private accommodation.

Laundry service
Our hotel provides laundry facilities at the allocated time between 7am to 16:30pm.

Our laundry services are basic laundry only.

Please refer to specific cancellation policy specific to your booking in the Booking Form.

Arrival Time 2:00pm on the arrival date (unless otherwise specified) and Departure Time 11:00am on the departure date (unless otherwise specified) (The residence must be vacated timeously for the cleaners to begin). On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry or period the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

Guests need to provide credit card details or identification card.

Small lap dogs are permitted outside on the patio area, not inside the restaurant or in any of the rooms.

Swimming is permitted for any guest, towels are provided, no lifeguard is on duty. No Children Swimming from 8PM.

Damage or Loss
Neither the owners of the establishment nor Beach Wood Boutique Hotel accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to persons or property of the guests and the premises are used entirely at the occupant’s own risk.

The TC’s are valid for the duration of your booking. They may be changed at any time without notice.

Bringing goods and/or storing of raw or exposed cinema films, or any other article of a combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited.

Outside Guests
The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, its other guests, invitees visitors, agents and servants for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guests’ own negligence and non-observance of any / instructions.

Contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, animals and pungent food are strictly prohibited on hotel premises.
The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.

It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/ herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premises.

The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the Management has
the right to remove the guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.
